Firefox Extensions
I recently came across an extension for Firefox called Performancing. It is a powerful editor which allow users to post directly to their blog from Firefox. It supports a variety of platforms including Movable Type.
It is a bit tricky to setup at first but once you add your blog, it works like a treat. I love Firefox for its amazing extensions.
Here are a few extensions I recommend:
1. FireFTP < This is a simple but useful ftp application, the only problem I have had with it so far is the fact that it doesn't support secure ftp which I am sure would be included soon >
2. Gmail Space < Or Gspace is a great tool for storing your files on the web. You also need a gmail account in order to use this extension. It is a great way of transferring files from University/Office.. to home or vice versa >
3. DownloadThemAll < This one probably is one of the best extensions that is available to firefox users. It manages your downloads and makes downloading very easy by allowing multiple downloads as well as the pause/resume function which is very handy if you need to download big files >
4. FasterFox < Fasterfox effectivly improves your browsing speed through several techniques >
5. New Tab Homepage < Whenever you open a new tab, firefox , by default opens a blank page, if you want firefox to open your homepage instead, install this extension >
Look around the Firefox Add-ons pages and see if you can find something you like. If you find anything useful, leave a comment and a link to download.
